Explosions are always nice to watch, but it’s even better to blow up stuff yourself. This is why I am going to teach you how to make your own exploding text that you can show off to your friends.

For this tutorial we are going to use a little bit of 3D Studio Max, so make sure you have it and that you know your basics before you start. We’re also going to use textures, which you can grab from sxc.hu. That’s about it, everything else we’ll be creating ourselves. Now, does that sound cool or what?
